The application created by experts helps the restoration of people with stroke | Health
To help in the rehabilitation of people suffering from stroke (stroke), Brazilian researchers have created a mobile app, which allows for regaining the problem of hemiparesis, one of the most serious sequeles of stroke from brain injuries. The program operates on the basis of sensor (Accelerometer), which makes it possible to connect the slope of the electronic device to the individual’s outfit.
The purpose of the app is to make a mechanism free of charge for these people free of charge and influences new studies based on data produced on hemiparesis. Therefore, it is possible to identify posture and warn how the user will improve body arrangement and this warning can be chosen to be issued by voice, image or vibration command.
In the application process, the tests were held at the rehabilitation center, where researchers could understand many patients, as well as physiotherapy and professional therapists. From this point of view, the program was created in three moments: first, it was considered about the wearable app, and secondly, the software was developed and the third, the third, was created.
Sao Paulo has researched for the emergence of application through two projects supported by the Sao Paulo State Research Support Foundation (FAPESP) and has many employees from Ribiro Prito Medical School (FMRP/USP).
