The municipality of ílhavo opens new facilities for integrated social service
The Integrated Social Service (ASI) of the municipality of ílhavo and the Child Protection Committee (CPCJ) in ílhavo, since last Tuesday (April 29), is new facilities, after the completion of the first phase of the re -display of the ground floor to build the Paços Do Ministerial.

The intervention, which was made, allows us to increase the ability to respond in the Department of Social Development and Health, in order to cover the services and materials started by the City Council of the City of íLhavo, while transferring competencies from the field of social work and state health to the municipality, in October 2022 and May, respectively.
In this reorganization of the Floor 0 of the city hall building, the former exhibition exhibition, which was disabled for several years, was used only as a file and a storage area.
This wing excludes the exclusive division of social development and health (DDSS), as well as the ILHAVO CPCJ (and thus fulfilling the standard that the National Committee transmits), which will have a more interested location of privacy and confidentiality, which also gives it independence to other services of the room.
The new area also covers the inclusion meter, which was adapted to people with conditional movement, and also welcomes the social radar teams, Emace – a multidisciplinary team to support the educational community, the oldest age, and the DDSS general team.
To achieve this purpose, this area of the building includes a public service area, a service area dedicated to CPCJ, two waiting rooms, five service offices (one of which adapts to children and another ready to receive people who have air conditioning dilution), six working rooms, a file area, and health facilities adapt to people who have air conditioning, in the service area, and the stable room for women.
Given the sensitive nature of the work that was developed there, there was special care in choosing materials and in the regulation of space. It was seeking to create a harmonious, calm and comfortable environment for both citizens and employees, with access to all areas of privacy service and more areas. The services provided here are represented in a new graphic identity, with a focus on protection, family and society.
In the second stage, it will be reshaped, in the coming months, the wing in the hall of the City Council of the City Council, which will be reshaped to welcome services to support the public service for the citizen, as well as the public service for the remaining municipal areas. This wing will also install a larger file space and a new and modern wardrobe designed to remove material materials.
The intervention made in both wings was granted 537,862.26 euros, as well as VAT. This investment will allow us to increase the quality of service provided to citizens by improving working conditions for the city hall building teams.
