Google still doesn’t have much to show for Android XR

At the moment, Google seems to be targeting all the features you expect with Android XR. Its second developer Preview adds the ability to play videos of 180-degree and 360-degree enormity, bring hand-tracking into applications and supports dynamic refreshing rates (which helps the battery life). As expected, Google has also made it easier to replace its Gemini AI into Android XR applications, which promised when the company first announced last year’s platform.

In a range of videos provided, Google showed the ideal ways to use Gemini in smart glasses and headsets. If your mirrors have a built-in show (the meta’s ray-piercings are not yet offered), you can see a small Google map when you prepare a dinner, message to friends, or dance with your partner at sunset.
