FTC v. We have learned from the meta antitrust trial (so far)
A few years later, the Federal Trade Commission has filed a case against the Federal Trade Commission in an attempt to discontinue the acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp, and the trial of its future is finally going on. The investigation began last month when CEO Mark Zuckerberg took the stand, and it is expected to last for several weeks.
The possession of Facebook’s 2012 Instagram is a major part FTC case on meta. The government said Zuckerberg had bought Instagram to neutralize it as a competitor. When the cofounder of Instagram and former CEO Kevin Systrom stand, he did not definitely protect the action. Zuckerberg witnessed that Meta helped to increase Instagram, Systrom witnessed, Zuckerberg saw Instagram “threat” for Facebook’s growth and deliberately stopped the company’s resources.
Furthermore, Facebook’s decision to pay Billion 1 billion for Instagram – an income -free app and a few employees – seemed incredible. Sheryl Sandburg felt that Zuckerberg had paid more for Instagram. In the exchange between the two since 2012, “Yes, it is too much.”
