The minimum support price (MSP) in Madhya Pradesh has only 5 days of wheat. The purchase process started in the state from March 2025, ending on May 5. The quintal MSP for wheat is Rs 425 and the farmers in the state are also given a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal. In such a situation, farmers are getting a price of Rs. These farmers can only sell wheat
In the government’s process for the purchase of wheat, it is mandatory to book a date and time slot to sell products at the registrated farmers collecting center. In such a situation, farmers who have been booking slot till April 30 will be able to sell products in these five days. Farmers who do not book the slot can no longer sell wheat to government agencies. Missing farmers can no longer book a slot book for sale. Last week, CM Mohan Yadav ordered the authorities to book a slot for sale of wheat from farmers by April 30 and buy wheat from all such farmers by May 5.
MP is paying the highest price of wheat
State CM Dr Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh became the highest state for Madhya Pradesh this season. In any other state, farmers are not getting the price of wheat. In terms of wheat production and collection, the CM said it was ahead of states like Madhya Pradesh Punjab and Haryana.
15.33 lakh farmers registered
At the same time, last month, according to a statement issued by State Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Defense Minister and Consumer Defense Minister Govind Singh Rajput, 15.33 lakh farmers have registered to sell wheat to MSP from January 20 to April 9. Of these, a large number of farmers have so far sold their crop in purchasing centers.
3,528 collection center in the state
3,528 procurement centers, which means collection centers have been set up in the state. All necessary facilities such as collection centers, tents, seating arrangements, water, fans, weight machines and computers are provided at the collection centers. Also, cleaning machines are also used to clean wheat in many centers.
