Many people are not happy with this feature of Uber. People have compared it to the money before serving the employee. A user wrote that drivers are now refusing to accept regular fares and are forced to provide more than Rs. 100 tips for customers to pick up.
Another user has made teasing ideas to replace the customer, so that someone accepts the ride request. ‘A better step.’ Many users should be a way of thanking someone after good service and not advanced to get the service. A user recently said he had to use Uber and was shocked to see the driver asking for a tip before arriving.
Another user described this feature as ‘bad behavior’ and said that it seems like the employee is forced to pay for the service in a restaurant. Some called this a bribe. He said this was not a tip, and Uber is now bribing drivers to take from users. This is not the first time that the Uber problem is facing the Uber problem in the Consumer Protection Authority.
Earlier in January, the CCBA sent a notice to both Uber and Ola, complaining that customers were charging different fees on the basis of using Android or iPhone devices.
