For this purpose, there is a plan to provide water to about 30 villages in the area for the STP (wastewater treatment plant) for agriculture and horticulture. Farmers are educated

The minister said that the government’s attempt to educate farmers about the groundwater level in the area and to use the treatment of STP’s treatment of water, thereby using the canal water to meet the growing needs. Giving information about his inspection tour, he said that he had inspected the STP channel from Gurugram today to HAJ Nazar. In this canal with a capacity of 500 MLD, Dhanwapur’s total 218 MLD capacity is released by 75 MLD water, which is used by farmers in the HAJ Nazar district.

Two new wastewater refineries will be built

The Environment Minister has informed that there are currently 218 MLD capacity in Dhanwapur and two in Bahrampur with a total of 170 MLD. In addition, two new sewage refineries (STPs) of 100-100 MLD capacity will be built in Baharampur by 2028, taking an important initiative to strengthen urban waste water management.
