Six people (five men and one woman), between 25 and 40 years old, began in the Avero court, on Tuesday, due to the assumed participation in the very active drug smuggling network in Aveiro from 2020 and will be dismantled a year ago. The wife of the defendant who has seen is the woman who is being tried, and has three common children. In the prosecution, consumer communication records of the defendant, a store owner, are established, prompting investigators to conclude that he was also devoted to trafficking. “This is not compatible with the truth,” her husband said, only admitting that she was aware of her consumption. He also assumed that the other defendants moved to Porto and gave him drugs when they returned.
The accusation of the public prosecutor, based on the investigation of PSP, states that the beginning of the group’s activity dates back to 2020, after it extended until the arrests under the operation of “Maresia”. In searches, about 104 doses of drugs (hashish, heroin and cocaine), 170 euros, Sut, car and seven mobile phones were arrested.
