In order to complete the mission of CM Yogi, the State Sugarcane Development Department targeted GVO (gross value production) worth Rs 1,41,846 crore in 2025-26. The Sugarcane Development Department submitted its action plan 2025-26. In this, he must make significant contribution to the state’s economy by reducing the dependence of the state government by properly implementing sugarcane agriculture and related industries.
What is GDP product (GVO)
The Uttar Pradesh Sugarcane Development Department has demonstrated its action plan for the year 2025-26. The main goal is to set a target of Rs 1,41,846 crore in the state’s economy in the coming year. In the year 2023-24, the department was Rs 1,09,461 crore. The GVO target is set at Rs 1,41,846 crore this year. The cooperation of the cane was set at Rs 1,03,038 crore as a GVO, while the cooperation of the jaggery was placed at Rs 38,808 crore.
Sugarcane Development Department set target
The Sugarcane Development Department has directed important aspects to achieve the goal and reduce the relying of the state government. The special priority of this section is to increase the average recovery percentage of the Sugar Mill Union from 09.56 to 10.50 %. Also, the storage capacity of sugar mills should be increased to 4 lakh quintals.
Auxiliary amount of Rs 1200 crore
The Sugarcane Development Department is currently receiving Rs 1200 crore for the operation of its schemes. The department aims to reduce the dependence of the state government by eliminating the technical shortcomings in the operation of the schemes. Also, this year’s section determines the appointment of skilled workers from outsourcing for sugar mills by May.
