Kremlin confirmed that North Korea offers military assistance in the event of necessary
Kremlin on Monday confirmed the North Korean partnership in the release of Kursk, the Russian region of Kursk, which provides military assistance to Pyongyang if necessary.
“We have an agreement (mutual assistance). The parties have promised to help the parties immediately if necessary,” Russian Presidency spokesman Dimitri Pescov told Russian agencies. According to Pescov, North Korean soldiers’ participation in the fight in Kursk tested the “capacity of that deal.”

Chief of Russia’s Armed Forces General Staff, General Valerie Gercesimov informed Putin on Saturday that Kursk’s Ukrainian forces were expelled from August 2024.
“I want to highlight the military from the Democratic Popular Republic of Korea in the emancipation of the border areas of the Kursk region, which has been officially recognized for the first time to fight the Ukraine Armed Group, in accordance with a comprehensive strategic affiliation between our countries,” he said.
North Korea on Monday confirmed that he had deployed forces in Russia in Russia in support of his attack against Ukraine, according to the Strategic Association Agreement signed with Moscow in June 2024.
