The latest street name in New York
New York City Mexican Regional Music Group has paid tribute to Los Digrus Del Norde.
The street sunset park, also known as the Los Digress Del Norde Way, is located in the neighborhood of a strong Latin and Mexican presence.
“Beginning today, a street Los Digrus is the name of Tel Norde. Thank you for walking with us, still today Instagram post Thursday evening, with video and photos of the street name.
The event was chaired by Councilor Lincoln Restler and other local representatives, with the group’s cultural and social impact on the Latin community in the United States. Once the street identity was discovered, several participants chanted “Somos Americanos”, the number one border anthem, which topped the rankings two decades ago and turned the group into spontaneous spokespersons.
A few days before the concert of Los Digrus Del Norde at Madison Square Gardens on May 24, as part of their International La Lotteria Tour 2025, there are 22 additional dates in the United States
This is not the first time Los Digrus Del Norde received a public tribute to the United States, and they have a street named in Chicago and a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fam.
