Three Belgian soldiers were injured during a military training exercise in Scotland

The Belgian Defense Ministry said three Belgian soldiers were injured on Monday during the Royal fire exercise in Scotland.
The incident occurred in Tain in Northeast Scotland, a part of the country, which is currently participating in a large -scale exercise of 600 Belgian players Red Cantor, which will last until May 21.
The Belgian military said that the injured soldiers were first aid at the scene before they were transferred to two local hospitals.
Two of them were seriously injured and taken to the hospital by plane. Monday night, the two were in a stable position.
“One of them will be subjected to a surgical intervention in Scotland and then returned to Belgium,” the ministry said.
However, the third soldier was only a mild injury, he came back to the army camp on Monday night.
About ten Belgian soldiers suffered hearing injuries following the incident.
Ambulance’s Skotish Service said Euronows On Monday afternoon, two of the injured soldiers arrived at the scene before air traffic. They used a vehicle to take the third soldier to another hospital.
The Belgian Defense Ministry said it had opened an investigation into the incident to determine what happened.
“I received the unfortunate news that three soldiers were injured from the third paradrooper battalion during a training in Scotland,” Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Waver said Monday.
The British Defense Ministry said that no UK military man was involved in the accident.
“We are aware of an incident during a training in Scotland involving the foreign army. Our thoughts are all the people affected,” he said.
