Help dogs can get any open space across Spain | The weather and the environment
On Tuesday, the Council on Tuesday approved the Royal Decree made by the Ministry of Social Rights to guarantee disabled people to help public and private places for public use anywhere in Spain. This control completes the law in each autonomous society and tries to eliminate the inequalities that exists and influence the rights of people and animals.
The new standard is directed with pathologies that cause people with disabilities, with autistic spectrum disorder, sensual disassembly and recurring crises that cause gender and sexual violence. This decree has physical disabilities that require people with auditory or deaf disabled persons, people who need dogs for the emission of sounds and their origin and their activities in everyday life.
It is guaranteed that all these except operating rooms and other areas to meet special hygiene conditions can obtain educational, cultural, sports or health centers. They can go to retail commercial companies such as supermarkets, markets or food shops, as well as tourist accommodations, hospitality and restoration companies, museums and theaters. And if the animals do not access water, access to beaches, recreation areas, pools and water gardens is allowed. When it comes to gender and sexual violence, they are allowed to enter with shelter aid dogs or care centers, the Ministry of Social Rights refers to a statement in a statement.
The decree is completed in different autonomous circles on these types of animals and replaces the current 1983 standard. Of these, “only visual disability is considered; it has now extended to all kinds of disabilities,” said Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 Minister Pablo Bustindu. In this way, he stressed that the present providers are “to make sure they do not discriminate.”
The Royal Decree identifies the relationship between a person with disabilities and his aid dogs at the same time as a unit across the national territory. And not only with people, but also the well -being of dogs, guarantees their rest right, because they can stop working at the age of 10. This withdrawal does not suggest losing their rights, as they are no longer active, they can continue to enter public consumption.
The standard also resolves the training to receive animals: educated or officially recognized in the training of education, socialization and assistance dogs must provide them, or special autonomous professionals.
And the responsibilities are established for the care and respect of the entities or professionals responsible for consumers and their training.
