Noam also warned that the move would act as a warning to all universities and educational institutions across the country.

Harvard called it ‘illegal’

At the same time, Harvard University has severely criticized the decision of the US Home Security Department. In an official report, the university claimed that the move was a worthy and rejected the government’s allegations. At the same time, the university said it would continue to support its international students in 140 countries.

According to university data, Harvard recommended about 6,800 international students over 2024-2025, which is 27% of his total admission.

Harvard also pointed out that the second legal case could be filed against the government. Earlier, the university had filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration last month against its curriculum, admission processes and efforts to change the appointment policies.

The move took place three weeks after Harvard submitted the order of foreign students demanding the Trump administration Mit -Epril. The university administration has refused to release which data was shared with the agency.

In addition, on April 16, the Department of Home Affairs sent a letter to Harvard, which was asked to provide information on the university’s function on the campus, including participating in protests.
