Jharkhand government continues to open a world -class sports university to promote sports. Alka Tiwari, an IAS officer of the 1988 constituency of the Indian Administrative Service and the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, has advised the authorities to launch its process. He recommended an initiative to connect children aged 4 to 5 years with the sports academy, and said that children were training at an international level from almost the same age.
The University of Sports will be operated under the Joint AGS of the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Association and the CCL. Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari has ordered that a group should form a committee to create a group of other states, including the Open Sports University in Bihar’s Rajkir, and to use it in accordance with the needs of Jharkhand.
Speaking about the full use of 4 indoor and 6 outdoor theaters on 200 acres of Kel village, he has directed focus on what is better to improve the state’s sports skills. He addressed the 11th meeting of the Governing Committee of the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Association on Friday.
Sports village will open school
At the meeting, the recommendation of the Government Plus -2 school was accepted for the education of children associated with the Academy. The school secretary was advised to start its process. The Sports Academy was said to have infrastructure, only a representative of the authors.
Sports Academy runs on 200 acres of campus
In Jharkhand, a Memorandum of Understanding (30) was signed for 30 years in 2015 with a share of 50-50 percent of the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society and CCL to improve sports skills. The process of selecting the coaches for this is in the final stage. Since 2021-22, 1628 children who have been trained from the Sports Academy have won many medals in various events. This includes 4 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals in the international competition. At the national event, 763 gold, 70 silver and 118 bronze medals have won 763 gold 352 silver and 227 bronze medals in the statewide competitions.
Spend the game by saving electric money from the solar system
At the meeting, CCL, a partner of the sports academy, proposed to establish a 5 MW solar system in the village of sports, and the high consumption of electricity in the activities of the sports academy. CCL costs its CSR fund. It was said that money to save the electric bill would be used to further improve sports activities. At the same time, the sports department has stated that the infrastructure in the village village is 15 years old and its renewal is needed. The Chief Secretary advised to advance in this direction.
