JNU canceled the Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Turkey – ‘You can’t play with India …’

JNU canceled the Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Turkey: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has postponed its educational cooperation with the Inonu University in Turkey due to national security concerns. The decision was taken when it was reported that Turkey joined the India-Pakistan struggle after the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding Agreement) between the two companies.

When violating the contract with Durga, JNU Vice Chancellor Shantishri Dulipuri Pandit said, “We have broken our contract with the University and it is necessary to make a notification six months before this agreement. The current military leader and naval leader are JNU’s alumnus. He is proud of them. We stand with our armed forces in the eyes of Operation Sindur.

Gulbit added, ‘The JNU has shown the way, the national interest is first, educators have the responsibility of the nation. If someone works against us, it strikes our country. So JNU is against him. The remaining universities should do this. Prime Minister Modi has shown political wishes. This is a strategic change, the previous India reacted, and now we have shown that you cannot play with India. Introduction to the power of India is an accurate attack. Scientific success with our native technology is a view of Prime Minister Modi’s political wishes.

JNU wrote in a post about his official X (X) handle, saying, “For national security reasons, the Memorandum of Understanding between JNU and Inonu University in Turkey is postponed to the next announcement. JNU stands with the nation. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on February 3, 2025 and its valid was until 2028 February 2028. The purpose of this agreement is to improve educational cooperation and exchange between the two universities. Recently, the ‘Baikat Turkey’ campaign has gained greater strength in many parts of the country, as the growing near Turkey and Pakistan harms the Indian interests.
