In such a situation, the difference in the product is slightly reduced. According to the new data released by ISMA on May 15, 92.76 lakh tonnes of sugar was produced in Uttar Pradesh. Here, 122 sugar mills have a sugar cane crackdown and now all the mills stop working.
There are two Chinese mills of Tamil Nadu yet
At the same time, 200 sugar mills in Maharashtra have been working. During this period, 80.95 lakh tonnes of sugar was produced, Karnataka produced 40.40 lakh tonnes of sugar and suppressed cane in 80 mills. Apart from this, 15 sugar mills have produced 8.9 lakh tonnes from Gujarat and a total of 30 sugar mills (now two) of Tamil Nadu 4.84 lakh tonnes of sugar.
In addition, 29.57 lakh tonnes of sugar was produced from 88 sugar mills in many other states. A total of 533 sugar mills were produced in the current season, only two of which are currently operating.
