The member consists of 24 girls, boys and teenagers, on behalf of all municipalities, gives them a voice and actively participate in the island’s policies

Capeldo from the Ministry of Social Labor today formed the Council of Children and Adolescents in Fuentora with the aim of giving the voice to girls, boys and adolescents throughout the island. The council was formed today, in a session held at the Insular (Purto de Rosario) Youth Center.
The member consists of 24 children and adolescents of the six municipalities, who will represent all Fortometers, in their commitment to be a voice of childhood, and brought to Cabildo their ideas and suggestions so that their opinions are taken into consideration in the island’s policies. As expressed during the meeting, their goal is to improve the quality of the life of the whole population, especially children and adolescents. They also expressed their willingness to cooperate with other institutions and associations that work for childhood and adolescence
“The council enhances that children can participate actively in issues that are concerned with equal opportunities and adherence to society.”
They were also present and members of the ASD Integral company, who reflect the great challenge that was the formation of the council, due to the great importance of the presence of a member that allows hearing the voice of children and adolescents throughout the island region.
