Bahrain won the Non -Permanent membership of the UN Security Council

In the United Nations General Assembly meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the Bahrain won a permanent membership in the UN Security Council for the Period (2026-2027).

Bahrain won 186 votes in 186 votes at 99.5 per cent.

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr Abdul Latif al -Jayani described this victory as “leading”, and with his country’s voting percentage in polling, “based on its foreign honor, structural cooperation and positive interaction based on the confidence and praise of the countries of the world and its foreign policy.

Al -Jayani promises this victory as “its intention to be active in the values ​​of peace, stability and cooperation, as well as to be active for the protection of international peace and security.”
