The Ukrainians are distrustful of the immediate peace agreement after a long -awaited telephone call between US President Donald Trump and his Russian Homeologist Vladimir Putin.
Kiev residents were not tense about the chances of the Peace Agreement before summer.
“(Silence) is closely possible for the autumn, not now, (Putin) will attract time,” said Kiev resident of Euronevas, said the Russian war machine to wear more before peace.
Another Kiev resident was furious at the start of the conversations between Putin and Trump, and that the two leaders should have found themselves shortly after the US president was sworn in in January.
Trump, who said his call to Putin was “very good”, released the true community after the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine would begin “immediately”.
Telephone calls came after the peace talks that failed in Istanbul last week, and when Putin rejected a Jelensky’s invitation to a personal meeting, instead sent a low -level messenger.
This is the first time that the two parties have been formally gathering since the beginning of the Moscow invasion at the beginning of 2022.
Although the two agreed to return 1,000 war prisoners, the US could not find a common reason for how to ensure a 30 -day ceasefire proposed by the United States and Ukraine.
Jelenski accused the Kremlin White House of appealing as a distraction and rejected Russian demands to remove the Ukrainian forces from four parts of Ukraine.
“Ukraine does not remove its troops from its own territories,” Jelenski told the media that Russian demands to remove the troops from Tontsk, Luhansk, Jappezia and Gerson regions.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius accused Russia of having time in peace talks on Ukraine, not really interested in a ceasefire.
Although the US has not done so at this point, the European Union has said it wants to advance with new sanctions against Russia to press Putin to accept a 30 -day unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine.
