Waqf Amendment: RJD is ready to go to the Supreme Court to challenge the ‘Waqf Amendment’

R.J.D. On Waqf Amendment Act: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Ja and party leader Fayas Ahmed have been approved by the president on Saturday and have decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court to challenge the Waqf amendment bill on behalf of the party that has now become a law.

RJT leaders argued that the law could have a significant impact on managing Waqf assets. According to the Ani report, the two leaders will knock on the door of the Supreme Court tomorrow.

Opposition parties, Congress, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslim (AIMIM) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan have also knocked on the doors of the High Court that challenges the law.

What did Tejashvi Yadav say in Waqf Act

RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav said that if his party forms a government in Bihar after the upcoming elections, the Waqf law will be thrown into the “Dustpin”. “We hope that Muslims can come tomorrow and Sikhs and Christians tomorrow.”

Yadav said the bill was introduced to divert the attention of the people from unemployment issues. He said his party would not allow the BJP to implement the bill in Bihar.

He criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is fighting in internal cracks within the party over the Waqf law. He said JD (U) is trying to sell this law. Quoting BTI Yadav, ‘They try to prove as much as they can, but this bill does not succeed that the bill will benefit Muslims. J.D.
