The Haryana government promotes natural farming, farmers can grow crops on public land!
The Haryana government has taken an important and progressive action towards steady agriculture. The government has decided to use agricultural lands owned by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department to promote natural agriculture across the state. According to the state government, the initiative is an environmentally friendly, low -fed and chemical -free agricultural traditions. It not only improves soil health but also increases the income of the farmers.
Project on 53 acres of land
As a pilot project, the scheme will be launched in the village of Dathri in the Pundri Assembly constituency of Kaital district. There are 53 acres, 4 canals and 19 Marla lands belonging to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. The land has been historically leased to fewer people. Now it is only used for natural farming. Haryana Chief Minister Nib Singh Saini gave his permission to the historic decision on Friday. He said the state government wants to promote healthy and economically practical practices in terms of environment. With this, farmers can be able to power and confirm the well -being of agricultural well -being.
Training is available from the government
According to this initiative, this important scheme that promotes existing lease natural farming can become beneficiaries. In addition to encouraging them to adopt natural farming practices, they are supported. In this, the state government provides the necessary guidance, training and assistance. Once this pilot project is successful, the plan is gradually expanded. The government plan is to implement it throughout the state. According to the military government, it wants to become a prominent state in agricultural practices, including natural agriculture across the country.
What is natural farming
Natural agriculture is actually agricultural tradition, in which natural resources are used instead of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and artificial irrigation. The purpose of this tradition of agriculture is to advance the methods of stable and healthy farming without damaging the soil, water and environment. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are not used in this type of cultivation. Organic fertilizer Jivamrith, Bijamrith and Ghanivamrit are used in its place. Also, a wide variety of crops can be sown at once, which reduces insects and reducing diseases.
