The room enhances ILLIABUM club support at about 32,000 euros
Last Tuesday, April 29, the municipality of ílhavo and Illiabum Adndendum signed for sports development in 2024/2025, enhancing their commitment to supporting sport and enhancing the quality of life in the province.

The fair, which includes 32,000 euros, signed by the mayor of Alavo, Joao Campbolago, and the head of the club’s administrative committee, Bruno Bizaro, aims to improve the conditions of the spontaneous wing, with excessive exclusion in the dismissal, with the increasing exclusion, which guarantees inclusion.
This investment is a strengthening of the support provided by the municipality of ílhavo, with benefits work in the wing coverage, the replacement of lighting, in the interior plate, the installation of a new electronic mark and the application of the new floor, including the municipality, which is awaiting the application. These interventions, which have been conducted in the past nine months, are an investment of about 370,000 euros.
In total, ILHAVENSE from the municipality of ílhavo receives total financial support of 130,300 euros, dedicated to promoting sports activity, improving training and competition conditions, enhancing safety and infrastructure and promoting ethics and certificates in sports.
In addition to financial support, the city council provides, as usual, to support logistical, material and sports transportation (whenever it is available), whether in support of competition or in the events that were promoted in cooperation with Illiabum Clube.
The increasing number of athletes from Elliabum Club – who went from 144 at the time 2021/2022 to 229 at the end of March 2025 – is dynamic and the importance of the club in municipal, regional and national sports panorama.
With this addition, ílhavo municipality enhances its role as an active partner in developing sports, health and social cohesion in the region.
