As a result, this time 29 lakh metric tonnes of wheat were deposited in the government store. With this, 77 lakhs 74 thousand metric tonnes of wheat were purchased from 9 lakh farmers in the state.

Last year, 48 lakhs 38 thousand metric tonnes of wheat were collected from farmers in Madhya Pradesh and this time 29 lakh metric tonnes were purchased. So far, more than Rs 17,000 870 crore has been paid in the farmers’ account.
