Sever Do Vouga: APCDI advances with the mental health unit

The Citizen Citizen Association for Citizens (APCDI), at Sever Do Vouga, has signed a funding contract to build the new mental health unit within the Integrated National Integrated Welfare Network (RNCCI).

With a capacity of 16 beds, Valencia will cost about 1.2 million euros and will receive government support of 400,000 euros that were sent under the PRR).

“We know that we will have hard work to collect about 800,000 euros, but at the end of June 2026, I am sure of that, we will complete the mental health unit, which will be more valuable to all of us,” said IPSS head, head of the IPSS.

In a common note about social networks, Joaquim Martins Heenriques called for the local community’s contribution: “We have support and contribution of all cut operations because there are few of these units in the country, and we can be proud of Vouga to think.”

Its headquarters is located in PESSEGUEIRO Do VOUGA, where APCDI has been created four decades of activity to support disabled children. Currently there is a center for activities and training to include, a time and day center, Core At Quinta Do Cardeal (two housing houses, an integrated continuous care unit) and a day center.
