Flash floods: Nine people have been killed in the floods and landslides in many districts due to heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh for the past few days. Seven members of two families were killed when a vehicle was struck from the road on Friday night in the National Highway 13 of the National Highway 13 of the East Kameng District.
The vehicle fell into the ditch

In another incident in Lower Subhansiri district, police said that two workers were killed and two people were rescued due to landslides at a farm near the Pine Wall on Zero-Kamle Road. Lower Subhanseri Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Osing Lego, the incident took place on Thursday at the Run Bhian Cabage Farm.
He said that due to the rise of the Chikkin River in Upper Subhanseri, the sudden floods in the district headquarters Taporiso have caused widespread damage and many lowest areas have been submerged. More than 117 homes and many essential structures have been affected in the district due to bad weather.

Many roads were blocked
A man from West Kamang district said that many people are trapped in 35 pastures near Jamiri. The road is also blocked in Jyoti Nagar, Trang, Padma and Durga Temple areas. The contacts between the villages of Nafra-Nakku-Nachipom and the Bicoom district of the West Kameng district have lost contact, and many are trapped in the way.
