Maharashtra Hindi Move: The Maharashtra government’s language counseling committee unanimously opposed the decision to force Hindi from the first class in schools. Lakshmikant Deshmukh, chairman of the committee, has written to Chief Minister Devendra Fatnavis demanding the cancellation of the previous decision.

NCP MP Supriya Sul PTI said, “I am the first person to oppose the Education Minister’s report to make the CBSE Board in Maharashtra. What is the need for the current State Board to replace the CBSE?
