In turn, General Halim Abu Rahma, Director of the Jordanian Exporters Association, said that the exhibition sees a huge voting from the observers and the most important buyers who represent many countries of the world, which indicates the opportunity to promote their products and the progress they have received.
The Association, organizing the first Jordanian contribution to the exhibition, is interested in providing all the possibilities in front of the Jordanic exporters and participating in the most important international exhibitions, which contribute to the export markets and other unusual openings.
Abu Rahma emphasized that the British market outside the EU countries has an important specification for the existence of a large Arab and Islamic community and other nationalities, which gives strong support to improve its existence to the Jordanian industry, invited to take advantage of this important opportunity and the benefit of the free trade signed between the two countries.
Abu Rahma pointed out that the exhibition was attended by 1500 exhibitions from various countries around the world, and about 30,000 international buyers and distributors are expected to attract more than 105 countries.
The Jordanian -British Joint Agreement in 2019 came into effect in 2021, and was interested in both governments of the two countries to improve bilateral economic and trade ties, especially after the official evacuation of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
This contract provides priority to mutual products between the two countries, and by exemption from customs duty, the concessions made under the Jordan -European Joint Agreement.
It is worth noting that the amount of trade exchange between Jordan and the United Kingdom reached about 303 million days last year, of which 62 million daily exports were Jordanian exports.
