UP News: Yogi government’s main initiative, warehouses are built in 16 districts, farmers are relieved

The Uttar Pradesh Yogi government has launched a big scheme for the good of the farmers. Under this scheme, warehouses with 500 to 1000 MT capacity in 16 districts of the state are built by 24 multipurpose primary agricultural cooperatives (PACs). This scheme is part of the world’s largest food storage scheme. After harvesting the crops, keeping it properly is a big challenge to the farmers, not only the farmers. Farmers always have a rate of rain, pests, etc. It is important to have the right storage for this.

The biggest problem before the farmers is to secure your crop. Due to the lack of storage facilities, they should sell crops at cheaper prices. But now this problem is overcome. In which districts do warehouses build?
The scheme is being implemented in Lucknow, Baraabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi, Bahraiich, Ray Bareili, Eta, Mathura, Farukhabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, Kanpur Nagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Jalanown, and this scheme in Uttar Pradesh. Farmers of these districts receive direct benefit and their storage facility.
