He explained that his country is currently reading concessions for creating 300 MW of alternative energy projects, while the coming period will see a number of contracts with international corporations in the fields of oil, clean energy and electricity, as well as establishing a new oil refinery.

In turn, Al -Haj Dawfik explained that the visit of the delegation representing the business and service sector of Syria is under the structure of the private sector’s interest in developing a new view of the country’s economic relations, supporting the new Syria economy and participating in the reconstruction projects.

He emphasized the need for the sister to benefit from the Jordanian experiences in the renewable energy manufacturing industry, and that the provision of renewable energy is an important issue to support investments and businesses and reduce production costs.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening allies with private sector and Jordanian companies to contribute to the development of energy projects in Syria.

For his part, the CEO of Jordan Petroleum refinery, Eng. Hasan al -Hiyari pointed out that the refinery is ready to supply southern Syria with oil descendants, pointing out the role played by Jordan to supply gas at a competitive price on the Syrian side.
