The Santa Maria Da Vera City Council supports young musicians from the boycott through a new competition, the Z hesitation, which was created to give musical projects emerging in the region. The three artists or local groups will be awarded the winners of a scholarship worth a thousand euros, and the production of a professional music video and performance at the Youth Festival.

Between 1 and 20 April, the nomination period for Z Fidel Competition, which aims to enhance the spread of the new emerging musical content in the municipality’s geographical field, which establishes new talents in the region and providing a context of the general experience and maximizing communication through digital tools. It also aims to enhance the general enjoyment of emerging music projects, making citizens closer to local artistic practices.
The frequency can be applied for individual musical projects, consisting of natural youth or residents in the Municipality of Santa Maria Da Vera, which ranges between 30 years or less, as well as collective projects where one of the elements are at least of the natural or residing elements in the region and which are equal to average age or less than 30 years. Participation criteria will be available for a short time in www.cm-fira.pt/juventude.
In addition to its project exhibition, through the performance of the Youth Festival in Santa Maria da Vera (about 30 minutes), the winners will be considered in a professional music video, produced by Freakfilms, and a scholarship for each euro project for each project.
This new project was combined at the Youth Festival, which will be held on July 11 and 12, in Parque Da Cidade de Lourosa, an event betting on the active participation of youth, through training experiences, workshops and shows, in addition to creating spaces for participation and clarity for young local artists.
