Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah in New Delhi in the northern constituency. At a meeting held by Shah, a study was reviewed to implement three new criminal laws in the state. In addition, there was a debate on the abolition of Naxalism, the overall development of Bastir and the further enhancement of the security and justice system in the state. The meeting was attended by Chhattisgarh Home Minister Sri Vijay Sharma and several senior officials of the Union Home Ministry and several senior officials of the state government.
Chief Minister Sai, who provided information at the meeting, said that administrative and technical arrangements have been completed in Chhattisgarh effectively implementing new criminal laws. The guidelines of 27 varieties and 27 types of SOPs have been implemented in the state. In addition, about 37,385 policemen have been trained. Electrical evidence and video conferencing systems are installed in courts, police stations and prisons. So far, 53,981 FIRs have been registered under the new laws in the state, with 50% of cases introduced.
Special strategy was discussed at the meeting for a permanent solution to the Naxal issue. In recent months, the Naxalites have been killed, arrested or surrendered in the state’s activities. Efforts such as Homestand’s growth and tourism organization in tribal areas have had a significant impact on the merging of young people with key flow.
The Chief Minister said that by 2026, the state government has promised the absence of Chhattisgarh Naxal and is fast in raising Bastar as the main tourist attraction of India. Chief Minister Sai promised that Chhattisgarh would follow the guidelines of the central government with full devotion and would play an important role in implementing this effort of legal reforms across the country.
The Home Minister praised the Chhattisgarh government’s work so far to implement the new criminal laws and urged the implementation of 100 per cent in the state. Home Minister Amit Shah revealed the coordination and readiness with Chhattisgarh, and that the purpose of the new laws was to simplify the judicial process to simplify the justice process.
