The 2007 Civil Aviation Act is aimed at controlling, manufacturing and operating the licenses of drones by accepting the integrated legal and safety structure to improve national security and the development of the economic sectors of these aircraft.

The fields of new instructions include tourist marketing, agricultural crop control and supply and management of logistics services.

Licensing includes production, trade and maintenance sectors, which offer a better opportunity to invest in this growing field to local and international companies.

In this context, experts insist that the move comes within the structure of the national course towards the digital economy, as the information technology sector is one of the most important sectors that Jordan relies on creating new jobs and supporting the national economy.

This trend reflects the emphasis on the importance of this sector in promoting digital change, and in addition to the goals of economic modernization, the revenue of the Department of Information and Communication Technology is seeking to increase the revenue of the Department of Information and Communication by 3.9 billion by 2033, and the Tinars is trying to increase by 101 in this field.

For its part, the Civil Authority Organization has confirmed that these instructions reflect on the national economy, by creating new jobs in manufacturing, maintenance, training and logistics services, and by provoking the digital and growing business environment in the kingdom.

The authority pointed out that the introduction of drones in agricultural and industrial activities will also contribute to improving the performance and reducing the cost of operational costs, especially the major infrastructure projects and the survey and surveillance activities.

These instructions are expected to create a quality change in organizing this sector in Jordan, while creating an attractive legal environment for investment, and providing flexible and secure structure to companies and individuals, contributing to the goals of the economic and digital growth of the kingdom (Petra).
