ESC-ENON2 was launched in November 2023 and is scheduled to end April 2026, a cooperation project in Erasmus+ aimed at enhancing the approval of the European Student Card (ESC) within the principles of education 5.0 and society 5.0. These projects aim to increase the quality and importance of organizations’ activities, develop and enhance partnership networks, and increase the ability to work together at the national level, while enhancing the internationalization of activities, exchanging and developing new practices and new work methods, in addition to the participation and globalization of ideas.
With the participation of six European partners, including the University of Affiro, the project focuses on digitization that moves students, and provides technological solutions that make life easier for students and higher education institutions. Dirt brings many benefits to students and institutions.
ESC-ENON2 integrates functions such as digital authentication, which extends registration and access to academic services, among other facilities. Tools such as a student trip and a student toolbox provide a more efficient and comprehensive experience, allowing students from Aveiro to reach basic resources quickly and safely. For example, digital approval reduces the time of international exchange processing, eliminating the need for excessive documentation.
Despite the benefits, ESC implementation faces major challenges, such as institutional resistance and technical problems of inter -employment. ESC-ENON2 treats these obstacles through training and experimental tests, enhancing digital literacy and ESC adoption. The approach that focuses on students and cooperating with academic networks, such as ESN and ISIC, is essential for the project’s success.
The future of the transfer of promising digital students, and projects such as ESC-TeCion2 is necessary to achieve this vision. The local community, especially the University of Avero, plays an important role for playing, supporting and participating in initiatives that enhance innovation and inclusion in education. Not only is the life of students, but also contributes to a more efficient and cooperative educational system, in line with the goals of education 5.0 and Society 5.0.
