Cabildo continues to carry the first aid training to the educational centers in FuerteveNtura
The Ministry of Security and Emergency Cases of Cabildo de FuerteveNtura, which directs Lolina Negrín, continues the basic knowledge of the first pupils across the island. Under the title “Learn to help: Learn first aid, you can save your hands”, the educational centers are added in Porto Rosario currently to this campaign, which includes more than 200 students from various centers from the municipality.
This campaign is taught by the prevention service, firefighting and Fuerteventura (Speis), and in the case of Porto del Rosario, training is responsible for Esperanza Bardanka, head of the municipality’s civil protection, with over 40 years of profession as a nurse in the General Hospital of Veintora.
The Minister of Security and Emergency Cases, Lolina Negrín, explains that the campaign focuses especially on the most common incidents among children and adolescents, which, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), includes fall, cut, burns, suffocation, poisoning, electricity, religions, animals and traffic accidents. Therefore, “training seeks that minors are acquired by autonomy and be able not only to prevent accidents, but also to know how to act in front of them, and adapt the contents in their time to ensure their understanding.”
Colleges that want to be part of this initiative have the ability to request these training talks through the electronic electronic headquarters of Cabildo de Fuerteventura, and direct their request to the Ministry of Security and Emergency Cases. In the application, you must specify the course or training courses that the training will be intended, in order to adapt the contents with the needs of each group.
