The study includes 11 participants who took two types of biscuits in separate sessions: one of them is a regular cocoa biscuit, the other is a flavor supported by vegetable extracts. After eating each type, the participants analyzed the amount of some hormones in their body, and in addition to the questionnaires to measure hunger and satisfaction.

The results show that biscuits supported by bitter extracts have led to a reduction in appetite before dinner, compared to regular biscuits. The rise of satisfactory hormones, such as GLP -1, which controls hunger and sugar and digestive degradation, is the same hormone, which is targeted by drugs such as “Wagoffi” and “Ospec”, which is used to reduce weight and treat diabetes.

The bitter taste of the vegetable mixture regulates how the body secretes the GLP -1, which reduces the desire to eat and slow digestion, contributes to the long -term feeling and reduces the amount of food eating.

Research Supervisor Dr. Flavia Prodam, all participants who consumed biscuits have reported a clear reduction in appetite before dinner, although the same effect did not appear at the rest of the day. Biscuits are painted “very tasty” despite its bitter taste.

Now, the group wants to conduct an expanded medical examination to patients with obesity, to learn the effect of this type of biscuits in their eating habits.

Buddhism emphasized the importance of treating emotional features associated with food, noted that the growth of delicious foods that reduce hunger is an excellent technique for supporting weight loss.
The results of the initial study were presented during the European obesity conference in Malaga, Spain. Independent
