Aveiro: The Baroque Park Project is almost ready to be launched in a public tender
The future BarroCas Park project, in Aveiro, in a green area connected to the Capelas of Senhor Das BarroCas and Carlos Candal Avenue, in the specialized study stage, and must be completed by the end of July, after the launch of the general bid of the contract.
Information sent by Aveiro mayor during the project’s display prepared by Services, this afternoon, as part of the Eco Adventura’25 initiative.
Ribau Esteves said that it also occurs to acquire the necessary land parts, which is the vast majority of 33 hectares. The total investment will be about one million euros.
The project includes, in addition to the creation of the green area and the use of a hydraulic trench, two buildings, one hosts the scout headquarters Vera Cruise and the other for its use as a multiple experience.
Community gardens, as one of the uses, will be converted into a green space and the area that represents the beginning of the park, along with the church, the goal of improvements, while demolishing washing and combating access to the current roads.
The park will have a square for fun activities, pedestrian and trademark paths, the point of view and the lake (the retention basin) for use for other purposes when there is no ongoing water in the hydraulic trench.
The Aveiro room this afternoon is also scheduled to display the Aveiro Pole project for the Intermunipal Future Center for the official animal collection (CROA), to be located in Taboeira.
