“Albegaria + Comprehensive” project with the second stage

The Bioliving Association launched the “albegaria + comprehensive” project, in 2022 directed to children and young people with special educational needs in the protection of nature, “promoting accessible and creative environmental education.” Funded by People & Planet – Common Fort, its peak in a general exhibition of “construction blocks to connect environmental concerns”, which attracted nearly 100 visitors.
The new phase of the tutorial will be implemented by the end of 2025 in four local institutions and with coordination that has been adapted to different age groups.

In 2024, “Albegaria + Inclusive” was one of ten winners of Sonae Educano 2024 awards, out of 300 filtering.
The project includes four local entities at this time: ASSOL, Appcdm, AHMA and the collection of Hostel-A-FVELA schools, with the support of Albegaria-A-Velha and LEGA municipality, through its “Building Change” program, which is “still essential to achieving planned activities”.
“This initiative not only enhances the importance of nature protection, but also to fight social isolation, noting that all people, regardless of their capabilities, can contribute to a more just and sustainable world,” Biolival concludes.
