The Jordanian Cartoonist Association announced its election to a new executive committee for 2025, and at an exceptional meeting held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in the presence of the members of the Public Authority and the presence of the previous executive organization.
As a result of the elections, the League -led artist, Umar Adnan al -Abdrat, and artist Mahmoud al -Rifai, in addition to the post of League Secretary, the artist al -Lommer, artist Amjad official and members of the artist.
Artist Umar Adnan al -Abdalat is a cartoonist and the inventor of visual content is characterized by a teasing and deep artistic style that combines human consciousness and social criticism. He graduated from the University of Jordan’s Applied Science University in Jordan, a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, and earned a special technical training in 1998 at IFAC College, Miami, USA.
He started his life, and he saw a vast experience in the fields of caricatures, visual story and creative training fields. Since 2016, he has served as a certified coach in the art of galit, creative thinking and storytelling, and participated in the training workshops for children and adolescents and arts and participated in the TEDX series in Jordan and Portugal (2015, 2018, 2023) TEDX Series.
Achievements and Awards:

* Under the supervision of The Jordanian Cultural Ministry, the Jaha Cultural Center and the Cartoon Painter Association participated in youth training programs within cultural efforts.
The Cartoonist Painters Association is the official representative of all Jordanian Cartoonists, which were formed as a cultural association in 2007 under the laws of the Jordanian Cultural Ministry, and the Association held a number of exhibitions in the Jordanian cities, and the Jordanian Cultural Centers within the International Cultural Ministries within the International Cultural Ministries’ Functions of the Jordanian Cultural Center. The association participated in many activities, such as the International Exhibition of the British Cultural Center, which was launched from London and responded to many Arab capitals, and participated in the conduct of Brazilian Cartoonist Carlos Lutoff and American Cartoonist Kevin Kaljar.
In addition, the association published its first book entitled “Cardogenic”, which included two two Jordanian cartoons, seeking to publish its second book next year.
The association is currently contributing to its role in the community in the community and the construction of a number of exhibitions on the agenda of the association and developing a public opinion.
