A meeting to exchange knowledge on innovation, organization and cooperation in the sector, “enhancing the role of sustainable movement in the future of Europe.”
Pecininov facilities in águida receive institutional representatives, as well as international experts and business leaders.
Public policies, organizational challenges and market opportunities in Europe are some issues under discussion in light of the “necessary international cooperation in order to strengthen the sector.”
“The strategic vision of each country will allow us to understand regional dynamics and best practices that have already been implemented in European space,” says Bechenov’s statement.
The major Portuguese companies and institutions associated with the production and technological development of bikes and accessories will participate in “industrial innovation experiences, integration in European value chains, challenges and the main opportunities they face” at a time when national industrial ability and innovation are assumed as “defining factors to enhance competitiveness”.
Therefore, the meeting also has a moment of discussion on the scientific and technological system to highlight the “importance of partnerships between research and industry” to ensure technological progress and develop high value products.
The program also includes a tour accompanied by guides in Picinovs facilities and an initial models that were developed under the AM2R project (filling in the business schedule for commercial innovation for the two sectors), which reflects the joint effort of industry and national research to put Portugal as a related representative in sustainable movement.
