Agitaguda – Art Festival’25 launches the creative project
The águida room, through AgitLAB (the artistic residence program promoted by the municipality), challenges those who want to integrate an international creative project for body coating, which will be presented at the Agitaguda Festival – ART 2025. Participation as models and dancers.
The project, which is depicted by the artist VILIJA Vitkute (World Time Champion) in cooperation with Małgorzata Suś dance designer, is part of the real stories of águida residents to create a unique performance as the body turns into a live screen and a living artistic expression.
Consequently, the municipality challenges the Agudense community in reporting and sharing its stories, in relation to private places, local traditions, live experiences, or people who were distinguished by the district and the region. Stories and memories that can be reported, until June 15, in writing (Email protected).
It depends on these unique and personal stories that artists will create a visual scene that is surprising. This is a project in the form of artistic residence, where the city becomes a living stage and a dialogue space between art and society.
In this sense, the second part of this invitation comes with the municipality challenge the public to participate as a model and dancer for this performance, which will happen on July 5 and 6. Artists are looking for between 10 and 12 people (more than 18), of any kind, the population in águeda or two oceans, with some experience in movement and comfort while exposing their bodies as a screen screen.
Those interested in participating must send their nomination, by June 15, to (Email protected). The rehearsals will be held between June 27 and July 6, at Alta Villa Municipal Park, with times modified with the availability of participants.
