According to the latest figures released by Amman – Companies, the number of companies that raised their capital by the top -thirds of this year has increased by 120 %.
According to the department statistics, the number of companies that raised their capital until the end of April reached 624, which increased by 341 companies compared to 283 registered companies.
The statistics of the department have increased 487 %of the first -third of the current year, reaching 617.2 million days, compared to the same period last year, compared to 105.1 million daily.
In response to “tomorrow” investigations, the department pointed out that the increase in the number of companies that has raised their capital is caused by a number of reasons, in which these companies are attracted to strategic partners or expanding more cash flow on their own, as there are opportunities in the local market in the local market.
The department pointed out that a group of government -made stimulants in many sectors contributed to increasing the capital of these companies in many sectors within the point of view of economic modernization to support and revive the business and investment environment.
It is worth noting that the period required to register the companies is not more than an hour in the shortfall of the need to approve from other government agencies.
The department insisted that the growth of the number of companies that raised their capital was an important sign that reflects the confidence of investors in the national economy and gives opportunities, which was aimed at expanding and increasing their investments in Jordan.
The department explained that capital increased companies operate in various economic sectors, including industry, information technology, agriculture, financial and banking services, insurance and tourism.
The department expects to increase the number of companies that raise their capital in the coming period, especially in regional countries, including Syria, after the lifting of sanctions from them, and in the light of the Arab floor that Jordan is experiencing.
It is worth noting that the number of new companies registered in the first third of this year’s first -thirds has increased by 13 % compared to the same period last year.
The number of new companies registered in this year reached 2372 companies, an increase of 281 companies compared to 2091 companies in the same period last year.
