300 students participate in the first workshops at the Technology and Tourism Conference 4.0

300 high school students in Fortivura participate in virtual workshops, artificial intelligence and airline simulation that was developed at the Palace of Training and Congress, as the first activity in the 4 4.0 Tourism FTV 4.0 organized by Fuerteventura Cabildo.
On May 13 and 14, Ies San Diego de Alcalá, Ies Puerto del Rosario, Ies Gran Tarajal, IES Majada Marcan and Ies Jandía in activities. In addition, during the afternoon today, May 13, the public audience can approach flight simulation, from 13:30 to 7:00 pm.
“We want to generate knowledge and opportunities for the individual of Ventura, and in this sense, new technologies can transform the professional future of our youth.”
For its part, the Minister of New Technologies, Carmen Alonso, repeated “the importance of this type of initiatives that contribute to generating new professional profiles and the profession of awakening related to new technologies.”
One of the major attractions in this first stage of Congress is a flight simulation, which is depicted as an educational tool and promotion of the region. Users are allowed to experiment on a three -dimensional map of the island, choose objective methods such as volcanic, coastal or water, and interact with physical aviation leaders. It also includes a dedicated narration that explains the geographical, historical and environmental values of Fuerteventura.
This resource also enhances the ability to recruit and technological seizure, air -related Awakening, VR environments, programming and experimental tourism.
Technology and Tourism Conference 4.0
Minister Carmen Alonso explained that after this first training stage for the youth of Forttentera, Congress will return on June 12 and 13 with a second stage aimed at professionals in this sector, with a more commercial approach.
The forum is part of the FDCANVENTURA 2023-2027 program, funded by the strategic line 1 of the axis of research and development, with the cooperation of the Canary Islands government and active participation in training centers, public entities, technological companies and the tourism field.
