Solidarity Campaign begins on Monday, to help families who do not buy medications prescribed by the doctor, which is 10 in 10 Portuguese.

Maria Zono Toscano invited everyone to “live with 365 euros per month”, “Most of the citizens need to do so.”

The manager said that the event had nothing to do with families that help the event, but had a collaborative network of partners such as private social solidarity organizations, which represent the effect of the campaign.

Maria Zono Toscano referred to the stories of people who need to keep food on the family table and buy drugs.

Since it was created in 2016, the campaign helped more than 40,000 people through collection of 35,000 to 40,000 euros in each edition.

From 2016 to 2024, the initiative distributed 2,790,707 Medicines packaging.

There is an initiative across the country

This year, the 13th edition of the initiative begins over 500 pharmacies, and the launch of this campaign today, at 10:30 pm, will take place at the Exposel Pharmacy in Lisbon, the note.

Note that local bodies such as Parish Councils and Municipal Councils, Social Social Institutions and Private Organizations of other social organizations can refer to any family in this situation.
