Recent studies spend two months a year before the age of 4 and 18 years, compromising on their brain and physical development. In Portugal, more than 60% of children receive the first mobile phone between 10 and 12 years, and almost everyone is 14 years old.
American data reveals that between 2003 and 2023, Face -Face Socialization time fell 20%. In Europe, one of the four young people is no longer socially socialized once a week. Lack of real interactions can increase mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and less self -esteem.

Increased isolation is associated with personal satisfaction declining, feeding the expanded resentment by the social networking algorithms, and the political impacts have already been documented.
However, there are signs of change. The adolescent series has had a strong impact on the UK, where almost all schools have already banned smartphones. In Portugal, PS and AD now accept similar actions for the 1st and 2nd cycles and control social networks for children under the age of 12.
