She made a career in the first financial market. See the advice she gives: ‘No one will grow alone’
Poliyani Gurium has not planned a profession in the financial market. In 2005, he decided to contact the Traditional Exam Guide with the best companies to work. “I am more signing up to attract my attention” she recalls.
“One of them was Bonco Ita. After a while, they called me to the selection process,” he said. He entered the bank and started his journey in the financial market.
Twenty years later, a client adviser at a global company called UBS in Zurich, Switzerland, which provides financial services to individuals, companies and companies. A step -step has been a profession with strategic transitions, continuous practice and belief in the long -term planning.

The first position is at the retail of Ita. There he learned the foundations of the market, developed discipline and began to be interested in investment. “I always enjoy how to make good financial decisions,” said the executive. A few years later, he went to JP Morgan, where he was acquainted with a more technical and global atmosphere. “I have gone to a completely different world. Twenty years later in the financial market, Poliyani still works with an eye shine. The most enjoyable at work is a constant intellectual challenge – and especially the opportunity to learn from customers.
“The market will change all the time. In addition, we need to know everything: the economy, politics, world trends,” he said. But that’s not. It is also her conversation – and with whom with her. “I have the right to serve people who make strategic decisions, leading and building heritage. Conversations are great, deep and teach me a lot. I will grow with every interaction.”
For her, being in the financial market is not just about numbers. This is to listen to, guidance, attend. “We will help families to make important decisions such as heritage or internationalization of property. We need attention and responsibility to listen to these moments.”
Back to the classroom
In 2023, the polia joined ABP-W (Advanced Board Program for Women). “I have been dating for years with this course, but I’m only ready now,” he revealed.
This experience returned to the classroom for more than a decade. “This is a reality shock. The level of discussion is very high. Personally, you are experiencing very different views from you – it is very great.”
The event includes more than 400 officers and international module. Poliini participated in Immersion in Melbourne, Australia. “This is a serious and transformation experience. Studying my form of artificial intelligence, governance and data has extended my appearance to the future,” he explained.

Networking also stood. “But in the middle of everything, the same important aspect remains: people,” he thinks. “The relationship between women of the group is the proof of living, even in the growing digital world, human relations will move great decisions,” he explained.

Career was not alone – not overnight
In the financial market over a period of two decades, policing gathered valuable practice – and then sharing her career more recognized.

“I didn’t build nothing overnight,” he said. For her, the value of the career is in the details: fulfill the deadline, listen carefully, deliver it with excellence – every day. Faith is achieved in this way.
