Bananas in the farmer’s garden will not rise in time, now nursery 1 lakh compensation

The country’s farmers began to understand the importance of horticulture and now focusing on vegetable-fruit gardening now for growth earnings. The horticulture tendency has been a long time among Kerala farmers. This is the reason why a wide variety of fruits and spices can be sent from here to the country and abroad. But there was a news from Malpapuram in the state, in which the farmer was cheating in the park. Now the consumer court has ruled in favor of the farmer.

Order to give the nursery a lakhs of compensation

The farmer hopes about the banana plants purchased from the nursery, and he begins to get the fruits at the time of the mention. However, the hopes of the farmer’s banana crop did not occur due to drought or illness, but due to lack of promise. Now, a local consumer court has intervened in the case and ordered a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the nursery, the banana plants he supplied, they cannot give fruits as expected.

The second type of banana plant

In fact, a farmer from Karimant Hotel in Vandur in the district leased the land to the farm, and he designed a plan to cultivate banana. For this purpose, after paying Rs 3,425 from the Chungathara Agricultural Nursery, he bought 150 banana plants, including the ‘Nandran’ type. The farmer said the plants would start giving fruit within 10 months and could be sold during the Onam season. However, the plants were unable to give fruits in a timely manner. The worst thing is that instead of ‘Nandran’, he invented a different kind of plant called ‘gold’. Even the other plants he received were not according to his order.

The farmer has sought compensation of Rs 1.64 lakh

After this, the farmer complained to the Consumer Commission and sought compensation of Rs 1.64 lakh. The local agriculture officer and counsel commissioner visited the agriculture and submitted a report to support the farmer’s arguments. Based on these reports, Malappuram district has ordered the nursery to pay Rs 1 lakh as compensation as a compensation commission.
