The Regional Labor Court in the 15th region has been convicted by the businessman Luciano Hong, to pay compensation to the former employee for election harassment. The decision has been appealed from February, and the company has appealed to the punishment.

Judge Fabricio Martin’s Pressure in Veloso’s office proved, so that employees did not support the anti -political parties. Businessman PL has campaigned for former President Zair Bolson.

The former employee worked at the Hawan unit in Jakare, in the interior of Sao Paulo between October 2019 and April 2022. She reported that the store manager had made it clear that she did not accept political conversations contrary to Bolsonoro and publicly said that the establishment of the Workers Party (PT) would be closed, which won the 2022 elections, Bolsonoro.

Another quotation is that the lack of 13th number associated with PT, in the store’s cabinets and cashiers, strengthens the occurrence of “abuse” for the judge.

The company said that internal regulations prohibit political talks between employees and that former employee cannot provide strong evidence to moral loss.

Hawan appealed the verdict and the request has not yet been tried. Marcos Malhadas Jr., who represented Estado and represented the company, said he would not comment on the cases of his clients.

Other beliefs for election harassment

Hong Company has already been convicted in the same case in previous actions. In May 2024, the third panel of the Superior Labor Court (TST) rejected the appeal made against the compensation payment to the seller for election harassment.
