International Tea Day: 150-year-old tea plants are installed here, exports are held in Arabs-Yurup

Not only the country, but also abroad, this tea has its own identity. Its taste is different than the second tea. If we talk about the product, Assam and Darjilink are much less than tea. But 150 years old plants of this special Kangra tea are still planted in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. This tea was identified as Kangra Tea. The taste is very unique, not for Kangra and other countries, rather than Arab and Europe. This tea is produced in some parts of Kangra.

But the Indian Institute of Bio Resource Technology (IHBT), Palampur and Himachal Pradesh are constantly researching Kangra Tea. Instead of tea from tea leaves in Kangra, the Institute also made the tea soft drinks and t wine. The scientist associated with the Institute said there was a lot of demand in congressional tea in European countries. Cosmetic products are also being manufactured from Kangra tea. During the dangerous era of corona, the hand sanitizer was also made from Kangra tea. Today, we are going to tell you about its more features during the International Ta Day.

Preparations to increase Congress tea in West Bengal and Uttarakhand

IHBT scientist Dr Sanath Sujat Singh also told the farmer that Kangra Tea is producing in Himachal Pradesh, especially in Kangra and Dharma. Kangra tea is planted on two thousand hectares of land. About 1 million kg of tea is produced. These tea plants were planted by the British 150 years ago. The particular thing is that Kangra tea is not used as Assam and Darjeeling tea leaves. It is used as herbal and black tea. Kangra Tea is exported in many other countries, including Arabia and Europe. Most of the product is exported. In view of the demand, efforts are being made to produce Kangra in West Bengal and Uttarakhand. For this, IHBT is providing all kinds of help to farmers.

IHBT made a machine for Kangra tea

One of the biggest reasons behind the increase in Kangra tea production is the lack of workers in the tea garden. The number of workers required to break the tea leaves is not available on time. In view of this problem, IHBT has made two types of machines to break the tea leaves. There is such a machine, which can only drive a man. Its use is 10 times more work than to break the leaves by hand. Similarly, two men run the second machine and it is 20 times more.
