Supreme Court ordered Jammu to appear from Yasin Malik Tihar to Jammu Court
Yasin Malik: The Supreme Court on Friday ordered the separatist leader Yasin Malik to investigate the state’s witnesses in cases against him through a video conference in a special court in Jammu. Judges Abhay Oka and Ujjal Puayan’s Bench were produced by Malik in Jammu court in 1989 for the murder of four Indian Air Force officers and the murder of four Indian Air Force officials.
In December 2025, the Supreme Court said that the central government passed an order under Section 303 of the Central Government Security Code, and that an order was passed under the illegal proceedings (prevention) Act. The Supreme Court has heard a petition filed by the Central Intelligence Bureau (CPI) demanding the transfer of Srinagar firing cases from Jammu to New Delhi in 1989 demanding the abduction of Rupaya Saeed Malik and others. During the hearing, Malik appeared in front of the Bench by the Malik Video-Concerts in the Tihar jail and said that he was not a terrorist but only a political leader. For this, Judge Oka replied that the Apex court did not determine the merits of the case and that they should only consider whether they should be allowed to examine witnesses through video conferencing. The bench said that we did not decide whether you were a terrorist or a political leader. The only problem is whether you should be allowed to investigate witnesses through video conferencing.
Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Registrar General and the Ladakh High Court, Malik, will be sued for confirming the relevant video-Confirmation facilities at a special court in Jammu. The CBI Additional Session Judge Jammu (Tada/Pota) challenged the production warrant against Malik in two separate cases on September 20 and September 21. In 1989, the Jammu Court demanded the physical appearance of Malik for cross -examining four Indian Air Force staff and the abduction of Mufti Muhammad Saeed’s daughter Rupaiah Saeed.
Supreme Court has banned the order of the Jammu court
In April 2023, the Supreme Court retained the order of the Jammu Court. In the first two cases, terrorist criminals recommended the idea of setting up a temporary courtroom in prison to sue Malik, and said that Ajmal Kasab was also given a fair trial.
